So You Think You Can Write or Direct a Play

Workshops are coming so get your submissions in! Also if you want to direct a play and need a producer we are also accepting submissions by directors with short plays or shows. Send them in either by email ( or in person at the Sock n Buskin office.

2ndStage Winter Fest Date Changes

Because of Carleton’s 2010 reading week, the dates for 2ndStage Winter Fest have been changed. The show will now go up on February 25 & 26.


The Auditions Page has been updated with information about the fall auditions for Read it Twice, It’s Real. Sign up for audition spaces right away because they can go quickly.

There is also a page addition to the site. The 2ndStage Workshop Series is FINALLY up and running again!

 The series will give local playrights the opportunity to get their work critiqued by professionals and performed by S’n’B actors. Workshop participants will also get the chance to have their work performed on the 2ndStage as part of our Winter Festival. Applications and deadlines can be found on the Workshop Series page.

If you have a show you want 2ndStage to produce as part of our Winter Festival, but don’t need/want to workshop it, visit the Submissions page and send us your stuff.
